Watch Us Learn and Grow…at the Lindsay Learning Center!

The Lindsay Learning Centre offers both elementary and secondary programs where students earn full academic credits while benefiting from the extensive supervision and high staff to student ratio of the Section 23 environment.

Elementary and High School students benefit from individualized daily academic and social programs at the L.L.C. Our goal is to provide the students with a safe, caring and consistent learning environment that fosters respect for self and others. The staff encourages students to get excited about learning and focus on their daily successes.

Their successes are vast and achieved through a wide variety of programs. Students plan and prepare Hot Lunches for their peers encouraging healthy choices through proper nutrition and wholesome recreational activities. They have an opportunity to participate in a Job Program that nurtures responsibility and positive work ethic.

The students days are filled with many extra curricular activities including equine therapy, curling, rock climbing, tennis, canoeing, community gardening and community service work. We believe that participating in these types of activities help to build a sense of team through learning cooperative skills, fairness, honesty, consideration and trust while enhancing communication skills and self-esteem.

At the end of the school day students head home having experienced a feeling of SUCCESS through participation in their academic and social programs.
